The trees shed
Bark like I
Shed lies here
I am stuck
Here I am
Against cold January
Skies ashen with
Soot of snowfall
Drop on me
These blessing snowflakes
So I might
Just remember spring
The trees shed
Bark like I
Shed lies here
I am stuck
Here I am
Against cold January
Skies ashen with
Soot of snowfall
Drop on me
These blessing snowflakes
So I might
Just remember spring
I wish upon
You dust things
Left over not
Fresh has beens
And just what
Maybe should’ve could’ve
Just dust things
Hopes nothing else
These are yours
At my age
What you ask
Is but understanding
Not for frailties
Not mine leastly
Perhaps yours for
What you see
In me is
You years ago
We haven’t changed
Much people over
Time unlike trees
You are nothing
But life as
I lay dying
In your boat
Or in jaws
I am remembered
That I too
Lived and that
I give to
You above all
Is it my
Job to destroy
Those things I
Love or maybe
Make them better
So that you
Love them too
Bean and Boo
I did love
Love me back
They did not
And so I
With an eye
Towards love say
This be mine
Or forever more
Be mine oh
Come on it
Is a poem
