And an accent
Like an auditory
Pheromone like a
A fragrance tickling
My ear like
A refreshing cocktail
Crisp and sweet
Like a dry
Sherry paired with
A crackling fire
Or like a
Whiskey smooth and
Smokey and slightly
Bitter these things
That you say
And how you
Say them makes
Me melt like
A freshly formed
Snowball in the
Hands of frolickers
Always aimed directly
At my heart
I write to
Write like every
Animal breathes to
Live I discard
This piece or
That poem as
Quickly as dirty
Diapers but you
Oh you scoop
Them up keeping
Them knowing that
There are fortunes
To be read
In them every
