I feel like one
Of those bacon wrapped
Chestnuts that lost his
Toothpick simmeringly falling apart
In the oven while
My friends gleefully crackle
And fry like husbands
And wives on the
Beaches of Waikiki I’m
No longer a pig
In a blanket but
Simply a naked chestnut
Month: February 2023
IDon’t
I don’t understand why
People that want something
Believe that someone else
Wants that same thing
Is it true that
Only the strong survives
Then why do so
Many subvert acquiesce accept
Why do so many
Wish to please while
Others wish to abuse
JuiceTheOrange
I don’t dismiss the
Past for life is
Like a bag of
Oranges and each experience
But one single fruit
I learn what I
Need to learn and
Carry its wisdom with
I juice the orange
Leaving behind the pulp
Breeze
Your life is yours
To do as you
Please and not just
To please others just
Like the tree gives
Birth to leaves to
Go where they must
So did your parents
Find your own breeze
And therefore your freedom
IWillAgain
I will write poetry
Again filled with imagery
As I have known
You enjoy swimming there
I promise I will
Once my soul stops
Its bleeding and clots
