Ornament
One ornament
with sparkles
catching light
I spy
thinking this
must be
how earth
must look
from Heaven
with each
delicate glint
being person
taking breath
feeling love
this then
brings peace
to me
Hollow
Done doesn’t feel
like this this
feels like I’m
the hollow of
some great oak
tree a hollow
so dark so
deep and so
damp that it
wards off even
the most desperate
looking for shelter
one big hole
in one bigger
tree the hollow
being once where
the heart was
I’m not sure
if anything ever
was here that
perhaps the tree
grew up around
it rather than
filling it in
letting it be
obvious to others
yet welcoming none

My life
is unimportant
that I
love and
more importantly
forgive is
what is
BeHumble
Humility is
