I’m open to 
not looking for 
having already been 
many times before 
that I’ve grown 
tired of riding 
that turning carousel 
everything looks new
first time around 
but then things 
quickly become similar 
and then familiar
so I’ve decided 
to just hark
others their tickets 
who haven’t yet 
ridden that ride 
and watch their 
happy glee erupt
as round and
round again they 
slowly go on
this singing merry-go-round 

We intersect us

me but not 
just in love 
though love does

welcome to my

I just saw
a shadow pass
across the sky
maybe plane maybe 
bird maybe dinosaur 
maybe even angel 
but rather I
think that it
was your soul 
reminding me that 
wherever it is

Trinket treasure or
trove the soul
is forever searching 
what value you 
find belongs to 
it for life
