Sometimes days go 
doing little else 
and then nights 
at last come 
and everything slows
just like gum
that after awhile 
loses its flavor 
but still manages 
to make bubbles 

The arrogant man 
thinks that he 
knows everything and
the humble man 
knows that he 
doesn’t know anything 
one is full
but not with 
questions and one 
is empty with 
only the answers 

Fate is what 
you get when 
you deny yourself 
of your destiny 
it takes a 
strong person to 
do so that 
is tempt fate 
but it takes 
an even stronger 
person to decide 
to defeat it 

The clouds fell 
today in pieces 
gathering at bottom 
creating a Heavenly 
landscape that I
think only the 
angels ever see 

They aren’t just 
maybe once were
but now just 
is just enough 
it’s the things 
given away and 
just happily found 
that brings back 
I believe that 
oh little things 
just bubble with 
memories that when 
first seen again 
do just that
