ToYouWhoReadMe

I don’t know who

You are but only

Where you are and

Knowing that allows me

To kinda know you

Just a little bit

Know this I see

When you read me

And know this too

Even though we don’t

Know each other you

Know a very very

Special part of me

So whomever you are

In this big world

You are my friend

SuperPower

Oh now come on

Who doesn’t want a

Super power to be

Able to do things

Others cannot the only

Difference between a super

Power and an abomination

Is a person’s desire

To have be do

Even if you’re born

That very special way

AutumnAgain

There’s something about fall

That brings such comfort

Brilliant colors and awe

Trees exploding like fireworks

That last for days

Of layers put on

And eventually taken off

Like the armor we

Wear before meeting someone

And the nakedness after

Of once cold drinks

Migrating to warmer ones

While anticipating the holidays

We live in such

A fast world that

Autumn slows down reminding

That change brings beauty

Label

Things often exist long

Before someone calls them

Anything these things go

About doing but only

Be when someone say

Hey look at that

Calling something a name

Never makes it so

It makes it recognizable

Should it happen again

Before that it’s still

Dinosaurs

As a poet I

Often wonder as I

Wander about my business

If I like dinosaurs

Know or ever knew

That I or mine

Will one day be

Extinct that one day

And maybe this day

We will no longer

Write or roam leaving

Others to wander wondering

Where’d they all go
