Magnets

You live life

I live mine

Circling like magnets

Some times opposed

Other times attracted

We dance there

Never ever sure

What the other

Will certainly do

Careless and carefree

Two of us

Here in space

ComeHome

Sometimes I feel

Like an autumn

Marsh a respite

For birds taking

Refuge in my

Arms as they

Fly onto another

Or a succulent

Blossom sitting pretty

And used for

It’s nectar by

Buzzing plump bumblebees

Oh when will

I be the

Roost or hive

That they return

To after they’re

Finished bobbing about

Friendships

I have learned

In my life

That love comes

In waves of

Surprises like holidays

Each one more

Titillating than the

Last now my

Love comes as

Friendship like seasons

Erupting as flowers

Long ago planted

Sleeping

One of my

Favorite things to

Do is watch

You sleep everything

Else is far

Away and you’re

Simply there smiling

And listening to

The heavens angels

Rest well my

Love I’ll see

You when you

Return to me

NightMares

Night time dreams

Haunt me with

Mystery like long

Overdue expected letters

Their news past

They ring nothing

But sad memory

And confusion like

Sediment that settles

Back to riverbeds

After fly fishermen

Clumsily stir up

Nightmares are selfish

Bedfellows robbing rather

Than bringing rest
