The sky resembles
The chalk laden
Blackboard of my
Youth that had
Yet to be
Wiped with a
Wet shammy damp
Deerskin that wipes
The mistakes of
Yesterday and cleans
The board to
Pristine kind of
Like New Years
When last year
Is wiped away
Ready for 2021
Celebrate this world

Hill of battle
Surveying the carnage
