Sitting here with you
Watching some scary tv
Grabbing and hiding in
You like a child
To the arms of
His brother you enjoy
Being scared but me
I like being held
I guess that both
Of us are getting
The thrills we want
Sitting here with you
Watching some scary tv
Grabbing and hiding in
You like a child
To the arms of
His brother you enjoy
Being scared but me
I like being held
I guess that both
Of us are getting
The thrills we want
And in the morning
Coffee in hand I
Crawl back in beside
And watch as the
Morning sun creeps like
A caterpillar up sheets
And lands on lids
Which flutter like butterflies
Showing me your eyes
Sleepy and darkly rich
Deep brown satellites hovering
And focusing on me
And then on coffee
First comes the kiss
And then the sip
On this our morning
As I lay here
Moving my hand slowly
Following the suns path
As it creeps quietly
From foot to calf
And up your thigh
To the ribbed cliffs
And your alpine chest
Past your mouths pool
Finally on your eyes
Giving my morning lips
Their own landing pad
Good sunrise my sweet
Just one more time
One more look back
One more go at
Things one more time
To be together like
One more swing on
The tire one more
Trip down the slide
Like one more sunset
From the balcony together
One more taste of
Something gleefully ticklingly delicious
Things that you enjoy
Are never really over
There’s always one more
In reality or memory
Yes I do that
I will admit it
As silly as I
Know that it is
But if one thing
Makes me feel closer
To you than far
What is the harm
No one will know
And I’ll never admit
That I do do
That one silly thing
That keeps us closer
Than the farthest far
That we unfortunately are
