In life we tend
to step into bigger
shoes rather than outgrowing
the old ones A
goldfish only grows to
the size of its bowl
A persons eyes are
usually bigger than their
stomach The point being
look forward for destiny
walk towards that voice
beckoning you for that
voice is your voice
way out there somewhere

FindingLove
Am I too old
to find love again
Is the discovery of
love reserved for the
young and foolhardy who
skip leap and bound
headlong with nary a
care about tomorrow or
is love reserved for
middle age like a
table for two in
a fancy bistro next
to a window offering
sights of Parisians passing
while sipping a Cabernet
Where do the old
find love once again
Perhaps love for people
like me is found
on narrow orchard paths
in late Autumn amidst
plump apple trees basking
in what’s left of
summer’s warmth and remembering
what foolishness love was
TreeTalk (for Bean)
And Bean asked me
what tree do you
think that you are
Replying I said the
river willow offering shade
and comfort to travelers
capable of moving yet
remaining strong against winds
And you Bean what
tree might you be
A mature mango tree
specifically a Mangifera tree
for they have deliciously
sweet fruit and provide
plenty of shade and
anything is welcome to
come feast on me
Huh if only you
knew Bean that we
and me already have
GM
When I know who
I am is when
I hear another say
good morning for it
is then that I
know we have made
it to another day
a destination of life
and isn’t that marvelous
WeeWeeFollowMee
Perhaps we think but
never really know who
we truly are until
we ask someone else
Oh I know well
the labyrinth the maze
that we stumble through
trying to decide who
we are but perhaps
we will never know
Next time you find
yourself trapped inside your
mind ask your friends
to blow their whistles
of love and follow
their sounds for only
the sounds of friendship
can tell you who
you are to another
