I hear snow fall
And I am reminded
How much I miss
Watching it slowly dance
And gather and pile
It reminds me of
Life and of love
Coming in quietly at
First delicate and pure
And the next day

That even dogs squint

What was once white
Dirties and tossed aside
No longer a miracle

To the mountains it’s
