And so it’s Christmas
I love this holiday
Even at my age
There’s something that happens
Around this time hope
Seems like it’s everywhere
I think that’s what
Christmas means to me
More than anything else
So I hope for
You wherever you are
When you read this
That whatever you wish
For will come true
Merry Christmas my friends
The simple statement
All is good
Is a blessing
To utter those
Is to understand
To have seen
And then accept
All is good
Manifests the Divine
Here on earth
Brings into being
Peace and calm
Kindness and compassion
Love and affection
I have endured a
Period of oppression I
Have kept my faith
I have seen humor
In the darkness like
A small sliver of
Sunlight I have outlasted
This three year night
I have made friends
Of my enemies and
Now at last I
Emerge back into light
Better because of it
Let me speak no
More of this with
Anyone except my God
For only He knows
And no one else
Will ever understand this
To know yourself is
To know God itself
For whatever you imagine
Can be by simply
Seeing it before it’s
Seen by others trust
That what you see
Is real and go
Find it or make
It so for those
I wonder what made
God after being finished
Sit back and say
Perfect what did he
That we simply can’t
I do know that
Looking at things from
High makes things beautiful
Astronauts birds and angels
Always agree with God
Remain above appreciate below
That’s our souls home
