And so goes
this the morning
dark and coffee
music and words
touch long gone
stars too and
moon and I’m
left with nothing
else except dawn
to tickle me
with quiet sun
and red lights
as people pass
in their hurry

I first started writing this blog as a way to refocus my thinking after a debilitating mental breakdown in 2008. Having been educated in writing, I had hoped that my love for words would have left a trail for me to follow and, well, here we are.
May
Many moments make
a month one
month just one
now gone and
never to return
funny thing time
is that it
is also distance
for the longer
that this goes
the farther away
you get until
I’ll be forgotten
just like those
moments of May
OneAll
I will not
love again one
but rather all
for one rarely
ever desires but
all always deserves
JustHuman
I can’t quite
decide whether being
gay or human
has brought this
heartbreak to me
life promised things
that all but
soured starting out
sweet and creamy
that over time
curdled into clumps
I can abandon
my attraction and
whom to love
but how does
one abandon humanity
I guess then
that one is
always the other
and that both
are the same
Field
I am
the field
just sowed
awaiting rain
and sun
the boy
just man
yearning for
love’s desires
the husband
just human
beseeching affection
forgoing forgiveness
and finally
just finding
that death
brings field
its fall
