The best way there
Is by starting here
There is every where
But here is the
Only place that you
Can ever truly be
Enjoy here for here
Is where you’ll find
Your happiness over there
Is simply a temptation

I first started writing this blog as a way to refocus my thinking after a debilitating mental breakdown in 2008. Having been educated in writing, I had hoped that my love for words would have left a trail for me to follow and, well, here we are.
Freedom
The funny thing about
Reigns leashes and rings
Is that they are
Clicked held and given
To keep and not
To run let go
And see what happens
Where they will go
And if they’ll come
Back to you asking
You to follow them
Go ahead have adventure
Rely on them instead
They may know where
MovingPictures
Then I pressed play
And off we went
Two characters in film
Still life and motion
Flickering posing and candid
Backdrops and portraits portrayed
Our own little comedy
And now and still
These motion pictures and
Screen tests are all
I have to remember
TheWorldUgh
I wonder if now
There is more unhappiness
Then there was before
It seems like the
World is popping off
Like kernels in oil
Or maybe the internet
Isn’t as marvelous as
So many had imagined
Giving voice to people
With nothing to say
At least before when
Thoughts were in print
You could edit idiots
Mirror
Oh such is the
Face which speaks behind
The mirror one step
From your reflection it
Only speaks the truth
It’s your reflection that
Lies I tell you
Lies to your face
So who is this
Face which speaks behind
The mirror depending upon
Which voice you hear
It could be fate
Reason or even serendipity
But you won’t listen
We almost never do
