Humility

The most
valuable yet
tortuous lesson
I’ve learned
is humility
mine came
by way
of bugs
how tiny
I must
be to
have been
bested by
some bugs

Peas

When all
else doesn’t
I default
to you
not by
fault but
by familiar
so similar
we were
being two
little peas
that to
remember not
would be
to forget

Farther

The farther
I go
the less
I need
and wants
become the
folly of
the fools

Temperance

Be patient
remain calm
and remember
to breathe
the world
is ablaze
as expected
do not
feed flames
by flesh
or air
shout not
this evil
shall end
just as
the winter
gives way
to spring

Tipping

When I
was chaotic
I sought
out chaos
now that
I am
peaceful I
only allow
peace here
be what
you want
