And now every
day I do
myself before I

I have learned
at this late
stage in life
that I and
not others never

the one constant
I have been

sleep my last
time will I

has been there
from the beginning
my Heavenly Father
and He will
welcome me home

I came here
with nothing and
yet created something

Dull
I do enjoy dull
finding things to polish
and make new again
but polishing things is
different than polishing people
people simply don’t change
no matter how hard
one rubs or shines
they remain the same
I think now that
people once dull remain
dull having always been
that lackluster tired way
