When I think of
Paris I think of
you sitting there across
the garden and amidst
the rhododendrons and hydrangeas
sipping on an aperitif
You looked so confident
minding your own business
But I being American
I interjected I interrupted
your solace by asking
would you join me
I meant for dinner
You meant for life
So here we are

OneMight
I didn’t know how
much I would until
I did Once done
one knows but until
done one only thinks
that one might and
thinking that one might
is as certain as
thinking that one will
Life
The joy in life is its unpredictability. If life were predictable then it would be death.
BrokenPaddles
The worst type of
coward is the selfish
one the one who
believes he is due
but rather than leading
lets the others go
These are the wannabes
jealous of others victories
sit and mope victims
of their own cowardice
They do not dream
but rather complain and
insist that life owes
them happiness turn your
back on these interlopers
they are but broken
paddles giving the idea
of hope but not
the ability to help
themselves or anyone else
Horses
I do think that
when a wild horse
is first saddled and
the bit is forced
between its teeth it
fights its own future
The cowboys believe that
they have broken its
spirit but they haven’t
A horses heart lives
in its hooves and
not its back and
just like people it
remembers that it once
was free and will
be again as long
as it keeps moving
