Inside out making
Me smile then

A home cooked
Meal after a
Long journey you

Robust warm and
Filling tasty savory
And filling welcomed
Hearty and satisfying
Always desired rarely
Enjoyed paired with
The wine of
Us we sit
And enjoy nightly
The meal that
We are together
Daybreak
Now dreams passed
Moving swiftly like
Gale force winds
Knocking down power
In darkness I
Sit finally hearing
The birds chirping
A new day

A warm blue
