I can’t wait
to see your
eyes morning open
and I like
a young boy
shedding his clothes
will leap into
them or like
a pilot fly
into them or
like a lover
at last be
seen by them

Snowflake
Said the snowflake
to the cloud
let me go
but you’ll fall
fall I must
it’s snows duty
it’s my pleasure
snowfall said snowflake
besides what good
is a snowflake
if it doesn’t
it’s just like
love I suppose
said the cloud
WeAreAll
I am all
just like you
neither is less
nor is more
we are just
comfort over here
and over there
whether we’re apart
or even together
we are all
then for ourselves
and each other
AndOnAndOn
I wish I knew
why what and whom
we fall in love
it’s life’s great mystery
maybe the eyes feel
what the heart asks
it can’t be serendipity
for even with I
and then with you
it feels like ocean
to cloud to ocean
to mountain to river
to ocean to cloud
and on and on
and on we go
you being one thing
and I being another
and then being both
BeanLilBean
I not only
watched you grow
up but your
baby brother too
it’s weird this
me slowing down
like an oak
way out there
and you too
taking root somewhere
else I can
see your blossoms
from over here
but I can’t
smell your fragrance
so imagine it
then I will
and yes it’s
just that sweet
