And like
a falcon
once tethered
love was
set free
to fly
up away
it did
to where
don’t know
it’s own
adventure likely
but now
has returned
by choice
not captivity
singing again
its song
which is
now sweeter

LittleRoom
Having whatever
in life
friend thing
or love
requires room
if your
life is
sand that
constantly collapses
onto itself
there is
little leeway
for others
do the
hard work
build out
of stone
create space
for there
then others
will stay
Him
I want
a harbor
a place
to go
a haven
or treehouse
I want
it to
have arms
and legs
eyes and
a smile
and a
heart as
big as
a lagoon
and as
warm as
a bath
in which
to soothe
and sleep
and awaken
brand new
JustBeing
Imagine being present
and not locked
away in some
tower high above
or put to
sleep by some
apple or swept
away by some
prince imagine your
stopping your imagining
because this is
precisely what people
do they live
in their minds
in their fairytales
of a completely
different life than
the ones that
they lead and
they believe them
despite being nightmares
Too
I’m too
just too
too this
too that
too much
too old
too tired
too to
to anything
too tall
too large
too loving
too caring
this too
is too
to too
