And sitting here
sitting here knowing
knowing and thinking
why and what
why do what
did and now
just sitting here
feeling the bottom
drop out from
just about everything
and then this
gnawing persistent idea
keeping me anchored
to my chair
pride I think
like Marley’s chains
knowing that five
steps two turns
one bedroom door
away is you

Meaning (to Juicy)
Words have
no meaning
as they
are but
letters just
as things
have no
meaning as
they were
once an
idea made
real people
make things
have meaning
in order
for themselves
to have
Different
Being different doesn’t
mean being better
it means empathy
an understanding that
things are similar
and things aren’t
it’s the gap
the place where
flute overtakes drums
where song replaces
concern and even
where love supplants
animosity being different
is being candle
in dark rooms
Lost
I wonder if
the reason why
so many spend
so much time
in our minds
is because we’ve
lost the way
to listen to
our own hearts
and why many
now believe that
it has been
lying to us
our innocence lost
MostFew
Most people
are of
the world
and few
are ever
for it
people have
good intentions
but few
are ever
for the
greater good
if you
see yourself
in anything
that you
wish to
do or
wish to
have or
wish to
be then
you are
most and
not few
