Sometimes in life
I set fire
To those things
Close to me
Not to watch
Them burn but
Rather to see

This includes friends
Two nights ago
I ignited a
Firestorm call it
A controlled burn
Which laid waste
To almost everyone
In my path
For one reason
To give light
To new friends
And reduce others
To simple ash
Promoting new growth
In the silence

I have found
My own thoughts
That comfort me
All is quiet
Except for breath
And my heart
And my memories
Making me smile
Please remember this
The haughtiest those
That declare that
They are beyond
Reproach and need
Your voice are
By far weakest
They need you

Them be strong
Be true know
Your self only
Ever chase that
Never pander never

Asteroid on planet
