I to expect to
Live life on one
Knee bowing to others
Only because they’re stronger
And then the heavens
Opened and a finger
Touched my chest filling
Me with hope hope
The Lord said is
Mightier than strength for

Weak but the hopeful
Carry themselves to victory
Life is a series
Of let goes of
Growing up and growing
Out and growing beyond
Leaving things whether friends
Or beloved friends or
Even more than that
Stings but imagine being
A tree imagine watching
The most beautiful part
Of yourself that thing
That made you Tree
Turn and blow away
We all are just
Trees remaining strong despite
All those letting goes
I prayed last night
For the Universe to
Send me a man
Like the trees pray
For spring to weaken
Winters grip I needed
Just one one simple
Hello to blossom like
That very first rose
To remind me that
Life will be Fine
Know what makes a
Jack-O-Lantern scary
It’s not the face
That has been carved
But the candle flickering
The same with people

Hearts with the whitest
Purest and warmest hearts
Both attract and repel
Almost all of those
With their own brand
Of deadly darkness inside
They’re the ghoulish ones
I live in a
Galaxy of stars suns
As they are known
All giving off light
But all also dying
None can be touched
All only are admired
Most people are suns
When young burn brightly
But as they age
And their own pompous
Mass begins to collapse
They don’t go away
Quietly like candles
But rather implode taking
