But there’s one type
That lasts an eternity
That is friendship love
That runs so deep
That not even forty
Years and lifetimes and
Everything that goes with
Diminishes the hearts laughter
Now I understand why
Scary movies are popular
The best things in
Life a bit frightening
If you’re not scared
You’re playing too small
Being scared like when
You’re on a roller
Coaster is similar to
The day that you
Were born yeeeee haaaaw
It’s finally here
My travel day
I’m leaving much
Behind mostly things
I don’t need
Relationships and men
I need even
Less what I
Am taking is
Savory a peppering
Of life’s experience
And simply me
I’m going home
To my friends
Not because I
Lost but rather
Because I won
I learned the
Value of friendship
Anything good worth
Having requires sacrifice
Because without it
It’s simply commonplace
Don’t waste time
In your chase
For having everything
But rather place
Your sights on
Less is nice
And usually more
I’m packing even lighter
Those that I thought
Wanted to come along
Decided instead to stay
Behind they shall remain
Like so many before
