SmallCorners

I think that what’s

Important is the small

Corner of the bigger

World we all live

In such a place

That corner which disappears

Like mist above ponds

Like dreams upon waking

But to us our

Very own tiny corner

Is enough to sweep

To tidy to decorate

And to welcome others

Whose own little corners

Got swallowed up by

This our round world

WhatIReallyWant

There is one thing

That I want more

Than anything beneath the

Tree but since I

Don’t have a tree

Maybe you will be

Standing outside my door

On that Christmas morn

MapleTreeFriends

And like a woodsman

Walking through a grove

Of towering maple trees

As I pass each

I stop to touch

Maple trees like friends

Are not my path

But show me it

They are where I

Go when I’m weary

And they shelter me

Always behind sometimes ahead

But wherever they are

I couldn’t be there

Anywhere really without them

TrustYourHeart

When we accept what

Is bad as normal

We willfully accept imprisonment

We abdicate our freedom

And then our minds

Accept the abuse given

We surprisingly get comfortable

The only way out

Is by trusting that

Even the unknown is

Better it is difficult

To turn away from

Even what is bad

But trust your heart

Your mind is wicked

There’s lots of love

Types of love that

Is most come and

Go like the seasons

But there’s one type

That lasts an eternity

That is friendship love

That runs so deep

That not even forty

Years and lifetimes and

Everything that goes with

Diminishes the hearts laughter
