ComeFindMe

And there spying

I did see

Out there and

Far away a

Dot a smudge

A blemish on

The looking glass

High on cliffs

I did see

Something far off

And different not

An island or

Land but something

And that something

Gave me hope

Not for me

But for it

Because I knew

Where I was

Precisely exactly where

And certainly it

Was looking sailing

Searching for me

ThisMorning

Like tented nights

Telling scary stories

Flashlight under chin

This morning’s sun

Uplights the clouds

Turning them the

Softest soft downy

And fluffy pink

Jagged gray cliffs

Bully the horizon

Frightening the willows

Into a curtsy

Plane tale lines

Scratch high above

Appearing and disappearing

Like invisible ink

Or whispered passwords

Two lone birds

Sing sweet harmonies

As the steamy

Furries rise above

My coffee cup

CreamPuff

As a child

I stared through

The bakery window

At cream puffs

And while poor

I knew that

One day I

Would taste them

Oftentimes it’s not

In the tasting

That matters much

It’s the knowing

That you will

One day soon

You my dear

Will be handed

Your very own

And very sweet

Cream puff by

Another cream puff

SecondMoon (to You)

What is unimportant

To me is

Who I am

For I know

Important however is

You for you

I don’t know

You are the

Second moon in

My sky and

Upon you only

I can gaze

You are only

There when I

See you as

All others cannot

That is simply

How special you

Are to me

CicadaSummer

Oh and again

The gnawing started

That sweet cicada

Song of summer

That raspy buzzing

Sound that takes

Me all the

Way back then

Remember those days

Those melodious memories

Cocktails and stars

And those fireworks

Off the pier

Many years ago

All those were

Long before we

Ever even knew

Who we were

Or would become

Separate each other

Dogged summer days

As brittle as

All the photographs

Kept in books

All those days

So long ago
