NightRain

The rain came

At night like

Dripping ghouls and

Goblins saturating everything

In a moist

Blanket some falling

Still I wait

Patiently like a

Bumblebee for the

First shaft of

The drying sunshine

BeYou

I have found

That in life

Being you the

You that you

Were meant to

Be is less

Scary than being

What you’re not

Celebrate you every

Day because it’s

Your uniqueness that

God breathed into

Your soul on

The special day

You were born

Treehouse

Alone at last

Now attractive like

The litters runt

People want me

But I’m hidden

Like a tide

Pool crab under

An outcrop of

Rock alone again

And private like

A child retreating

To his treehouse

Dawn

The sky begins

To glow like

A child’s face

Spying upon presents

Early morning stars

Begin to disappear

Like Autumnal leaves

Leaving the trees

Barren ready for

Winter cars zoom

By with workers

Off to jobs

Like paper boys

Delivering the daily

News this early

Wishing

I spy a

Star no wait

It doesn’t twinkle

It could be

The space station

But upon it

Cannot I still

Wish oh astronauts

Make my wish

Come true bring

Me a man

Here on earth

Upon to love
