(Re)BirthDays

It’s all in place

Like a child in

The womb I’ve grown

Even at my age

And now I float

About waiting like I

Imagine my soul did

Where ever souls wait

Before I was born

And just like that

I wonder like I

Imagine my soul wondered

When suddenly the doorbell

Will ring I answer

Whether it be hello

Or it’s a boy

Doesn’t really matter anymore

FixerUp

Renovation whether home health

Or spiritual is often

A messy business deciding

What when and how

To gut the old

And install the new

Takes not just time

But vision and trust

That once had been

No longer represents you

Be it fixture appliance

Or yes even you

VeryEarlySpring

Spring is coming to

Me in two weeks

The blossoms of friendship

And of the holidays

Will open and smile

And give off the

Fragrance of love and

Hope to everyone lucky

Enough to witness this

They will see and

We will know that

AdventureMe

I’m not running away

I am going to

For the first time

I have chosen this

There’s freedom in that

I’m not going to

Someone else for them

I am running towards

Me this time slower

Trust

And it’s finally happening

I knew it would

Once that I decided

The Universe then provided

We all have that

Power if we trust

It’s not the path

That is ultimately important

It’s that you take

The first tentative step

The unknown is scary

For if it weren’t

Then it’d be known
