SmallCorners

I think that what’s

Important is the small

Corner of the bigger

World we all live

In such a place

That corner which disappears

Like mist above ponds

Like dreams upon waking

But to us our

Very own tiny corner

Is enough to sweep

To tidy to decorate

And to welcome others

Whose own little corners

Got swallowed up by

This our round world

WhatIReallyWant

There is one thing

That I want more

Than anything beneath the

Tree but since I

Don’t have a tree

Maybe you will be

Standing outside my door

On that Christmas morn

Stillness

There is a point

Of perfection when even

The ocean is balanced

A moment when both

Of the tides strike

Stillness when even the

Seas sleep this is

Contentment when movement stops

It’s the second when

Desire meets happiness like

When two lovers kiss

GiveReceive

Kindness and generosity of

Heart and spirit heals

Even the deepest wounds

When you do something

For another any another

It’s like God touching

Both the receiver and

The giver each witness

A glimpse of Heaven

ForwardHo

I am on the

Cusp rather than the

Precipice I was staring

Into the abyss wondering

But now I straddle

It having gotten one

Foot on the other

Side there’s newness here

I can feel it

Knowing that with just

A few more steps

I will leave darkness

And leap into light
