Start with some coffee

Is the best coffee
Ever but is it
Or is it the
Best because it’s today’s
We spend so much
Time remembering and hoping
That we often forget
That one simple steaming
Aromatic creamy strong cup
Of morning warmth sitting
In front of us
Yes I mean you
My little own espresso
And so we talked
And so we laughed
You there as Pikachu
And me as Goofy
But while we pretended
There was something real
Something many people overlook
It’s called play time
Pretend time silly time
And in that time
It’s simply us time
Joy comes in flavors
Dark chocolate French vanilla
Mocha vanilla pistachio and
Strawberry I have tried
Them all believe me
I don’t prefer one
Over another I prefer
Them all with nuts
Of course my bad
Oh that was so
So very very bad
So I walked up
The mountain to talk
To the wise man
Upon my arrival and
Before I could speak
He launched into a
Litany of complaints about
A hundred different things
Finally I said geez
Old man you need
To get out more
He turned and said
And go where where
Does the wise man
Go to complain when
Everyone else comes to
Him to complain perhaps
You should stay there
As I stay here
And figure yourself out
As I do too
