A face lift
Veneer is applied
A thin often
Gilded or shiny
Layer of freshness
To give the
Appearance of newness
However that which
Allows the new
Is still old
Sturdy and strong
Such are the
Things that older
Younger relationships are
Frequently made of
I have written
More to you
Than any other
Lover ever before
I have written
About you for
You to you
I have described
You places for
You places within
You you within
Places and yet
You are incomplete
Not that you
Are I am
I will keep
Writing for you
Until the world
Knows you exactly
As I do

To do things
