TeenyTinyThings

It is simply

Simple the simplest

Of things those

Tiny moments that

Second that so

So slowly ticks

By the easiest

Of things the

Smallest of sounds

The pleasurable sigh

The hiccup on

A busy day

The chagrin the

Teeny tidbit the

Thing thought insignificant

These things are

The things that

I remember most

Divine

Amongst all the

Creatures the galaxies

The planets the

People amongst the

Eons the chances

That we’d meet

Is small the

Likelihood that we’d

Like each other

Is smaller the

Idea that we’d

Kiss tinier still

This idea that

We’d love each

Other is so

Rare that by

Happenstance it shouldn’t

Happen so what

Are we we’re

The difference that

Only life makes

Purely simply divine

ParadiseFound

To me laughter

Is the sounds

Of angels a

Giggle a guffaw

A belly laugh

A smile these

Are the sweet

Sounds of Heaven

Come tell me

A funny anecdote

Share with me

A secret and

Let us bathe

Together in paradise

Fear

Sometimes in life

We fight so

Hard against what

We fear that

We miss any

Enjoyment there instead

Turn and face

Your fears because

They’re only in

Your mind and

Not in the

World quiet your

Fears by facing

Them knowing that

Everyone else is

Afraid of you

Friendship (to my friends)

The joy of

Friendship is often

Felt yet rarely

Seen it arrive

Quickly like snowdrops

Popping through April

Snow shades like

Oaks on hot

July afternoons leaps

Like October leaves

And blankets like

January snow and

Through these all

The roots continues

To spread assuring

That not even

Typhoons can topple

What we are
