is of love

from with and 
for love knows 
only that and 
never knows negativity 

As blue 
delicately breaks
and black 
quietly blends
the night 
turns day
and those 
once naked
now clothed 
and ready 
for war
now go 
to give 
their lives 
for this 

Time flies 
night drags
and I 
caught somewhere 
in middle 
stretched like 
a leash
attached at
one end 
of dog
one end 
of master 
and going 
to none 
so here
I’ll stay 
and wait 
and see

It’s not 
the method 
by which 
one paints
their world
that’s important 
it’s simply 
that one 
refuses to 
stay within 
the lines
that someone 
else drew
