ByeBean

And like clouds
again you came
and again went
scraping across sky
leaving a mark
but no mess
such are clouds
common fluffy things
like cotton or
smoke or wisps
of something else
I will remember
you as clouds
when I see
one I’ll pretend
that it’s you
being something else

Disappear

Imagine having enough
or being enough
not too much
or too little
the right amount
and right number
just like leaves
or snow falls
never too many
nor too few
a nook a
book and crook
a place person
and thing in
which to disappear

Drip

Holding above
a rag
or ladle
or heart
hoping for
one last
bit of
drip to
quench desire
only despair
and dust
float past

Drizzle

If you
wonder it
likely is
for thoughts
rarely gather
like snow
into drifts
but rather
like rain
that usually
goes away

Think

Most people don’t
want to think
they would rather
be told what
to think for
thinking requires reason
and being told
requires practically none
