OnlyUsLuckyOnes

There was this one

Time under the sycamore

You were above me

On one elbow and

Looking down and just

As a late August

Breeze blew your flaxen

Hair from your face

At that same moment

The low afternoon sun

Caught the corner of

One of your eyes

And there then inside

I did see the

Deep blue pool of

Your soul and to

It’s bottom where I

Saw you swimming throughout

The eons of your

Lives and right then

I knew that like

Now we’d been together

And then taking my

Hand you said come

Swim with me and

I said just like

We’ve done so many

Times before and you

Said um yeah sure

It was that day

That I knew then

That only some of

Us are lucky enough

To remember the pasts

DreamDreamAgain

I’ve lived several lives

This life time around

Each one an adventure

Full of awed inspiration

Of amazing beauty and

Hours of quiet contemplation

I chased my dreams

And made them reality

Realizing that the true

Strength in life is

Not just having dreams

But recognizing when you

Capture them giving room

To dream yet again

LettingGoes

Life is a series

Of let goes of

Growing up and growing

Out and growing beyond

Leaving things whether friends

Or beloved friends or

Even more than that

Stings but imagine being

A tree imagine watching

The most beautiful part

Of yourself that thing

That made you Tree

Turn and blow away

We all are just

Trees remaining strong despite

All those letting goes

IWasInHeaven

My nighttime dreams brought

Happiness an odd array

Of characters had gathered

To surprise me on

My birthday hosted by

My ex husband and

Attended by long lost

At one time friends

Now serving his command

The war he declared

Against me years ago

But my dream was

A bit of homecoming

As though I’d entered

The gates of Heaven

It was like it

Was many years ago

MonkeyBars

You know that moment

When you just know

That gurgle those butterflies

You know but don’t

And you hesitate right

Before what is it

That makes you go

A kiss is nothing

More than monkey bars

At once on top

With no down below

Beneath just you and

There and then then
