Gosh at this 
very early hour
the downtown buildings 
glow like fingers 
of one hand 
wearing quiet luminescent 
gloves amidst a
calm camping tent 
I remember seeing 
as a child 
and in those 
hours and much 
like these dreams 
ignite making known 
things into things 
of the imagination 

It’s hard
to find 
anything anymore 
for society
and people 
belonging to 
it shield 
they wear
heavy coats 
of suspicion 
and mistrust 
of misery
and manipulation 
they seek 
never find
and their 
failures just 
add layer 
upon layer 
of desperation 

If anything 
rose from 
the ashes 
of Covid 
it’s agenda
and the 
embodiment of
push push
push of
opinion and 
righteous selfishness 
these are
the symptoms 
of scarcity 
a virus 
more deadly 
than the 
virus itself 
for it
doesn’t kill 
just cripples 
society fabric 

You simply 
cannot find 
something if
you don’t 
know what 
it is 
therefore take 
the time 
to discover 
and decide 
for not
then everything 
be it
sex love 
or relationship 
becomes disposable 
a castoff
something not 
someone of
little worth 
and even 
less value
