Now sleeping
you are
here next
to me
and I
feel what
I imagine
your father
did when
first he
gazed upon
your dozing
too in
his arms
Wisdom
Wisdom is
nothing more
than the
scars on
the heart
after the
wounds of
experience have
finally healed
Sandcastle
Most people are not
peaceful rather choosing chaos
whether it’s to occupy
or even to destroy
most unwittingly prefer it
holding space like peace
is akin to keeping
the tide from beach
fight all you want
but sea will take
what the sea wants
much like your chaos
will take your peace
as easily as if
it were a sandcastle

when we
meet now
we know
the gap
between them
is the
heart learning
to beat
as one
