Stride

There is something

To be said about

Hitting your stride so

Much of early life

Is spent bucking and

Trying to throw off

Then trotting and cantering

Stalling thinking and stopping

And finally running and

Breaking into that long

Beautiful gallop when you’re

At one with wind

Wisdom

Wisdom does not age

Wisdom comes from empathy

For those who never

Feel will never know

Wisdom rises from seeds

Sown through our lifetimes

Reaped not when harvested

But when quietly listened

Wisdom is the wind

To some it cools

To most it blows

To all it moves

JustEverything

When I hold you

I want to hold

Your heavens I want

To feel the sun

Of your heart the

Moon of your soul

The swirling spider galaxies

Of your arms and

The earth of body

I want to know

The gravity of your

Weight full upon me

I want to behold

You as my universe

Dream

I am a romantic

When I dream I

Dream of love I

Dream of stolen kisses

And smiles and winks

Of subtlety and nuance

Of details and surprises

But the world wants

Something completely other leaving

Me to wonder how

StonesAndBreadcrumbs

On every single path

There’s stones and breadcrumbs

Having been left before

Behind by something other

Always leading never alone

And on we go

Never knowing always wondering

Until finally at last

We eventually get there

Wherever there that is

Only we will know
