It’sSnowing

Snow has arrived

Like a million

Tiny white punch

Lines gathering one

Atop the other

Creating a comedy

Which tickles me

Like fingers moving

Across my ribs

Like meeting someone

New yet vaguely

Familiar thinking that

Someone like him

Had brought joy

To me once

And now wondering

And even hoping

If just a

Little bit that

Like a toboggan

We’ll sit slide

And glide over

Life’s hills eventually

Landing somewhere in

A pile of

Snow laughing together

Migrating

It’s time time

To go I

Hear the winds

Of flight swirling

Around me almost

Lifting prompting me

To come go

Somewhere anywhere else

Remain I do

Hopeful hopefully hopeful

That you’ll change

Change you don’t

So change I

Must leaving you

And all of

This behind me

I’m a migrating

Bird letting the

Winds take me

To someplace else

Any place else

Than right here

HiHeyHowYaDoin

I am tired

Of saying goodbye

At my age

So long and

Farewell seem to

Be de rigueur

Far less frequent

Are the hello’s

As though as

I have aged

I have moved

Farther and farther

North away from

The equatorial sun

Of embrace and

Cast into cold

Solitude remaining until

The spring of

Hi hey and

How ya’ doin

LayWithMe

Lay with me

Let me paint

You with words

Let me strum

Your hair like

A harp let

Me tap your

Tummy like a

Tympani let my

Fingers dip in

Loves water colors

And draw circles

Across your brow

Down the cliffs

Of your cheekbones

And pool in

The hollows of

Your throat lay

With me and

Let me look

Into your eyes

And see stars

So far away

Yet close enough

To touch stay

Lay with me

Delay with me

Let this night

Last into the

Day with me

MemoriesLagoon

I have not

Forgotten you wherever

You are or

Think you were

Once to me

You’re with me

Now swimming in

Memories lagoon tapping

My shoulder asking

Me for attention

A lifetime of

Ghosts not haunting

Like those seasons

Of long ago

That when now

It snows or

Fall winds cause

Leaves to dance

I see them

Yes I see

But remember you

Then and when

We were together
