Mass

I have
finally reached
critical mass
after a
near lifetime
of terminal
velocity things
going by
so fast
that to
barely notice
but now
I’m fixed
in an
orbit and
circling myself

Place

That place
you wish
you were
I am
those sounds
that you
wish that
you’d hear
I’ve heard
winged dreams
floating on
the clouds
of silence
and stars
like opals
gives peace
this place

Breezy

Even morning warm
tee and shorts
on the balcony
for our tea
and buttery scones
scents from South
carried on breeze
as summers ease
cups and plates
put in sink
as clothes trail
to the sound
of the shower

Alone

If it’s
said that
you’re to
meet those
who you’re
meant to
meet and
I only
meet me
then it
stands to
reason that
I’m enough

Wall

Car windows reflecting
dance upon wall
back and forth
ghosts of dreams
just this moment
as morning awakens
and now gone
onto somewhere else
and likely onto
someone else’s wall
