goes the

Forever is

forever isn’t 
a time 
or place 
forever does
never doesn’t 
forever outlasts 
better or 
even best
for forever 
is boundless 
and aimless 
and full 
of uncertainty 
and compromise 
but never 
is forever 
again forever 
for each 
of us 
ever has 
only one 

If he wants 
to be friends 
we’ll be friends 
if he wants 
to be more 
we’ll be more 
and if it’s 
nothing then nothing 
we will be 
for nothing with 
him is still 
better than being 
just about anything
