There comes a time
in most everyone’s life
hopefully
when you eventually decide
that what you dreamed
isn’t going to happen
that you have become
what you’re meant to
be
It’s not your surrender
no in fact it’s
your own marching orders
Sometimes life is snowfall
covering everything in blankets
often obscuring your own
truth
But destiny never sleeps
and like snow plows
clears away the snow
showing you where to
walk in order for
you to get to
where you finally belong

I found your post really inspiring. Your use of metaphor beautifully captures the idea that sometimes we have to let go of certain dreams in order to achieve our true destiny.
