Iland

I’ve accepted my aloneness 
I no longer look
to another for friendship 
I am my island 
borne from nothing but 
the earth sky sea
what I need I
have right here all
else are lost or 
there to take and
occupy and eventually remove 
leaving me my island 
scarred like everyone else
