JustOne

I just wonder if 
each of us was
given but just one 
of almost practically everything 
would any of us 
ever have any complaints 
one snowflake one raindrop 
one birthday one tear
one love one heartbreak 
one day one moment 
I sometimes think that 
we being used to 
having many forget or 
perhaps avoid the joy
of having just one 
one snowflake upon tongue 
one raindrop upon cheek 
one birthday to celebrate 
one tear to cry
one love to have 
one heart to break 
when one thinks about 
this this one idea
one must also include 
one birth and one death 
and all the many 
more ones in between
