Leaders are never 
born they’re made 
they only exist 
up high viewing 
those down below 
for those below 
only scurry about 
around and through 
the very obstacles 
they call life 
leaders have perspective 
gained by reaching 
only made leaders 
have ever learned 
how to survive 
up on top
having been whittled 
down through experience 
to that thing 
that can and
will survive the 
pressure up here 
so those down 
there don’t even 
know it exists
