It is with sadness 
that I write this 
dear Lord the beauty 
which You created is
gone 
where I don’t know 
the people You made
still remain but the 
glimmer which You placed 
inside has gone out 
and what remains now 
are just bodies lost
gone 
so I’m asking You 
what do I do 
with this now do 
I simply wait and 
watch until You too
tire of all this 
is there a match 
and switch to reignite 
or as You warned 
I told you that 
this would happen there
