I hate goodbyes 
and see you 
soons aren’t better 
they just pluck
my heartstrings which
I thought were
out of tune 
but with him
they just sing
and now I’m
beginning to think 
that just maybe 
he’s one of 
the only ones 
who can improvise 
a simple tune 
into a symphony
