Sometimes like now
I feel like 
that pause between 
raindrops barely noticeable 
because everything else 
is thinking rain 
but the pause 
like a laugh 
or a sigh
is what makes 
a single raindrop 
into a raindrop 
and into rain 
and even sometimes 
an arching rainbow
