When you love 
someone so much 
that you’re willing 
no not willing 
but actually happy 
to let go 
that simple act
itself is the 
definition of love 
love isn’t selfish 
love doesn’t keep 
what doesn’t belong 
love gives away 
even love itself 
and sometimes when 
the soul has 
finished its growth 
sometimes briefly and 
sometimes for longer 
it comes back 
to the very 
one who initially 
set it free
